Tapani Wendelin

Tapani Wendelin is a prominent figure in the maritime industry, currently serving as the Vice President of Business Process Development at ALMACO Group. His career is marked by contributions to design and engineering, particularly in the marine and offshore sectors.

Tapani's professional career started at Afore Oy in 2006, where he worked as a Designer until 2008. He then joined MacGregor, where he held various roles from 2008 to 2013, including Design Project Leader and Manager of Design. During his tenure at MacGregor, he was responsible for designing hatch covers for cargo ships and leading a team of design project leaders.

In 2018, Tapani joined ALMACO Group as the Vice President of Design & Engineering. His role evolved over the years, and in 2023, he became the Vice President of Business Process Development. In this position, he focuses on improving business processes and ensuring the efficient operation of the company in areas of health, safety, environment, and quality. Under his leadership, ALMACO has continued to prioritize corporate responsibility and sustainability.
