TeachersPRO is an AI-powered teacher development platform, developed in collaboration with the University of Turku, seeking partnerships, testing, and alliances

My organisation

TeachersPRO is a community-driven platform based on a unique post-course instructional design in 3 circles of support (peer-to-peer, learning analytics for institutional support, and AI Mentoring) that ensures transfer to professional practice through Learning Challenges within a framework of 16 critical competencies and more than 100 skills based on the best of Finnish pedagogy for teacher professional development. This platform allows individual or collective Learning Challenges to be carried out, through cutting edge content for dozens of skills, a peer-to-peer evidence review system and access to thousands of good real practices of other teachers in the international TeachersPRO community that currently has more than 30,000 users. Access to this content is granted permanently and forever to all users in their own teaching portfolio, where all their historical activity and professional development are also recorded. This Professionalization Virtual Environment (PVE) for teachers includes recognition in the form of badges, metrics, academic diplomas, and the possibility of certifying teaching competencies with University of Turku (Finland). For educational entities, it includes a powerful tool for tutoring, mentoring, and coaching of each teacher, through access to real evidence of his/her learning achievement in a portfolio, thus guaranteeing the transfer to their professional practice. This solution has proven its effectiveness, being able to increase the transfer to practice from the usual 10-15% in traditional teaching training to 70-80% in the first year (Malpica, F. & Navareño, P. , 2018).
