593iCAN is a academic spin-off from University of Campinas (UNICAMP) that develops high-quality 3D printers and software tailored to the needs of an interdisciplinary market. Our commitment is to deliver an intuitive and innovative experience that empowers our clients to implement cutting-edge applications efficiently and effectively. Our technological solution is composed of 3D printers (hardware) and proprietary software. On one hand, the 3D printers use a material extrusion process compatible with semisolid and thermoplastic materials. On the other hand, the software is the core differentiator and key element of our solution. The software is based on geometry parameterization, enabling fast generation of G-code without the need for computer-aided design (CAD) software. The characteristics of each printhead are mathematically modeled into the G-code generator, ensuring precise material extrusion calculations. This significantly reduces the amount of trial-and-error needed for parameter definition. By using parameterization, the software allows some parameters to be defined in relation to others, minimizing the number of inputs required from the user. In other words, it makes the 3D printing process more intuitive and user-friendly.
