High-Temperature Superconductor Space Systems & Electric Propulsion Integration

Neutron Star Systems develops high-temperature superconductor (HTS)–based spacecraft architectures using a system-of-systems approach. We integrate electric propulsion, power management and distribution (PMAD), thermal control, and radiation-aware design into scalable platforms for next-generation space missions.

Our core capability lies in bridging physics-level innovation with system integration. We combine superconducting technologies, advanced materials engineering, and mission-driven design to increase efficiency, reduce mass, and enable higher power density operations across LEO, GEO, and cislunar domains.

A key element of our approach is the use of digital twin environments to simulate and optimize spacecraft performance before hardware deployment. This allows partners to evaluate propulsion strategies, energy flows, and subsystem interactions under realistic mission conditions, reducing risk and accelerating development cycles.

We have contributed to multiple European innovation programs, working with industrial and institutional partners to develop HTS-enabled propulsion and energy systems. Our work spans from early concept definition to subsystem validation, with a focus on enabling sovereign and resilient space capabilities.

Neutron Star Systems positions HTS as a foundational technology for future space infrastructure, supporting applications such as in-orbit servicing, space logistics, and high-performance satellite platforms.
