EDF Project: Autonomous Repair of Military Equipment - Seeking partners
Research Group Leader: Robotic Systems at Institute of Mechatronic Systems at Leibniz Universität Hannover
Hannover, Germany
About
The civil product is on the market and proven in over 100 industrial cases: Further R&D towards military/outdoor standards and integration in a modular container-based manufacturing system with teleoperation and non-expert HMI is necessary. We are looking for a consortium of industrial, defence and research partners, especially:
-
system and vehicle maintenance including prime defence contractors,
-
robotics, production technology, materials and process simulation,
-
communications and (cyber) security.
The next steps towards defence commercialization within an EDF project are achieving depot readiness, field readiness, teleoperation and increasing autonomy and reconfiguration.
Partners: Picum MT GmbH: system and process expertise; IMES:
increase system autonomy via sensor fusion and online learning of motion and process parameters
