Mobile agrivoltaics: Generating sustainable energy on agricultural land and providing a platform for robotics applications.
product & business development at npk design
Leiden, Netherlands
About
H2arvester’s mobile solar systems move autonomously on the productive fields of arable farmers (conventional and strip cultivation), dairy farmers and nursery farms, providing a double use of agricultural land and generating extra income, an ‘extra crop’.
The autonomous solar cars are a platform for a multitude of additional applications: a carrier for sensor equipment and robot applications, such as for seeding, weeding, fertilisation, soil monitoring, crop monitoring and/or drip irrigation.
