About

The experimental device operates on the principle of exciting liquids with high-frequency ultrasound waves, which results in cavitation with the emission of photons, which are recorded by an electron photomultiplier. The intensity and time of photon emission in specific liquids can be used to characterize their physical and chemical state or properties.

The device operates fully automatically. Preliminary data processing is performed by an internal controller, final data processing by an external computer. The device can be used in medicine, petrochemical industry, biology, etc. As an example, the photographs show sonoluminescence processes obtained using this device.
