About

Our translational research aims at enhancing reliability and computational efficiency of perception, decision making, and motion planning for shared control in robotic and cyber-physical systems, with a focus on collaborative robotics, intelligent mobility, and autonomous manufacturing applications. Our knowledge development, technology transfers (to robotic, manufacturing, and intelligent transportation industries), and modular solutions include:

  • Autonomous navigation and decision in unstructured environments (intelligent mobility and exploration)

  • resilience in Networked Control Systems (NCS)

  • AI-enabled augmented perception for service robots (in healthcare settings)

  • Human-autonomy shared control in safety-critical tasks

  • Robot learning (assistive and manufacturing applications)
