1 in 10 women suffer from endometriosis, and suffer from symptoms like heavy menstrual pain, painful sex and infertility. Currently, the only way to receive a final diagnosis is through a surgical procedure called laparoscopy.

We are developing a self-sampling test using menstrual blood to detect endometriosis - easy, pain-free and affordable.

Our market includes all women of reproductive age who suffer from regular heavy menstrual pain (43% of women aged 15-49), which are 860 million women worldwide, and 80.3 million women in Europe.

Currently, no diagnostic test worldwide uses menstrual blood. We see high potential in this sample matrix as it is so close to the origin of gynecological diseases, and the sampling time is always on a set time frame of the cycle, which is often not considered in biomarker research.
