ecoro GmbH

ecoro is a German startup developing Autonomous Freight Shuttle Systems that automate cargo transport from warehouse handling to inter-hub delivery. By combining modular electric shuttles, robotic loading terminals, and a unified Control Center, ecoro provides a low-cost, zero-emission transport solution that replaces conventional truck operations.

Each shuttle can carry up to 2.4 tons and operate at up to 60 km/h, cutting logistics costs by more than 50% while improving efficiency and safety. Using a line-trace driving method instead of expensive LiDAR systems, the shuttles achieve stable unmanned operation even without GNSS—ideal for tunnels, airports, and logistics hubs.

Building on successful PoC results in Europe, ecoro is now accelerating its expansion in Japan through collaborations with logistics operators, warehouse integrators, and machinery manufacturers, aiming to redefine sustainable freight transport across the country.
