Plenary session

The plenary session will feature expert speakers providing valuable insights into the European Defence Fund (EDF). Attendees will gain a clear understanding of the fund’s objectives, funding opportunities, and participation requirements, as well as practical guidance on how to position their projects for success. This session will set the stage for informed discussions and targeted networking throughout the event.

Speakers will be:
Paul Kruis, Policy Officer at the European Commission. Paul will share what opportunites SME's have under the EDF, the requirements for participation and practical suggestions to prepare for participation.

Matthias Grutza, Policy Officer at the German Ministry of Defence. Matthias will explain how working for the Ministry of Defence works and what opportunities there are for SMEs, including in an international context, such as cooperation between the Dutch and German armed forces.

Frank Puts, Product Manager Defense at Nedinsco B.V.. Frank will give his insights what it is like to participate as a company in a EDF funded project.
