About
The Target Area Equipment (TAE) consists of a Beam Sensor Unit BSU with integrated Target Processor Unit TPU, an antenna and 12 VDC battery. The target area equipment is placed in front and below the target, and behind a protection wall (not included). The pressure sensors of the BSU detect the shock wave from a passing supersonic projectile. The scoring data is transmitted via radio to the Range Office Equipment (ROE) in real- time.
The scoring data is used by the ROE when calculating the scoring result. The scoring result is graphically displayed on monitor as x and y coordinates. The salvo center means miss distance, and total number of scored rounds are displayed together with the graphic picture. The scoring result can also be displayed in tabular form round by round. A print-out of scoring results are also possible. The scoring result is stored in a database. The ROE can receive scoring data from several configured targets as an option.
