The inventor and CEO Tomas Anderson founded the company in 2024 to develop his patented technology of Smart Vacuum Pressing into a commercially successful product. Now in its second year of operation, funding from the Swedish Energy Agency and Vinnova has enabled Occzendo to reach TRL 5 and have just recently finished phase 2 of 5 on the development curve. The technology as such is disruptive to a very traditional and risk-adverse industry, where no new major process technology step has been introduced for more than 40 years.
To move into phase 3 and be eligible for applying towards larger public innovation funds, Occzendo is now looking for partners and funding to manage the upcoming steps and ensure pilot and prototypes can be built timely and according to the business and development plan.
