About me
Dr. Prasad Raja studied at ETH Zurich (Dipl. Inf. Ing.) and received his doctorate at ETH Lausanne (Dr. sc. Technique). Since his doctoral thesis in the field of fieldbus (with over 40 publications and a new field of mathematical modeling in 1995), which then led to several follow-up doctorates, the theoretical findings served as a basis for CANBUS (later OBD2, which is now standard in every car), he has been involved in the topic of communication both in vehicles and large service provider and corporate Networks.
Both in Switzerland and all across the globe, he has gained over 25 years of experience with his company Veleras International in the fields of energy (Swissgrid, EON/Uniper) and telecommunication companies (Swisscom, BT, Vodafone, Deutsche Telekom, Broadcast IPTV, mobile core).
2018 Dr. Prasad Raja started with the idea of standardising E-Tuk-Tuk in the European microtransportation segment.
Focusing on the most energy-efficient vehicles – starting in England (Cornwall County) in 2018, it took 5 years after which Dr. Prasad Raja was the first to lay the foundations for E-Tuk-Tukd to be approved for use as a Taxi service in England.
This involved both technical and legal clarification and amendments to the rules which he accomplished in collaboration with Cornwall Council. https://www.cornwalllive.com/news/tuk-tuks-set-come-cornish-4360159
In Switzerland, which he started in 2022, the Subeez team (Prasad, Pascal, Mike and Martin) developed the world’s first Rent& Hide ECO System fully automated and easily deployable anywhere across the globe.
Subeez has developed the entire platform in-house and the service is available in 6 different places in Switzerland. Next is Germany targeting two major cities – Berlin and Lübeck. In Portugal the island of Madeira is currently being planned.
