Cranfield University

Cranfield University is a British postgraduate-only and research-based public university specialising in science, engineering, technology and management. It is participating or leading R&D collaboration in a wide range of engineering and science areas at national and international levels. The university has strong industrial research links with companies, including Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, Unilever, and Johnson Matthey. It is ranked in the top five UK universities for commercial research incomes according to the Research Excellence Framework. Cranfield’s researchers in this project have access to a number of advanced facilities in energy research and is currently conducting world-leading research in the areas of renewable energies, water and hydrogen.
