StartFreeCourses

StartFreeCourses is an independent educational initiative based in Hungary providing free, open-access online learning without mandatory registration.

We develop practical learning resources for adults in areas including language learning, digital skills, sustainability and environmental awareness. The platform currently provides learning content in English, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese.

StartFreeCourses combines digital learning with AI-assisted and automated content-development workflows, while educational content is reviewed before publication. We are particularly interested in practical applications of AI and digital technologies in adult education, human-AI collaboration, digital skills, accessible learning and multilingual education.

We are also developing sustainability education activities in areas such as climate adaptation, water resilience, biodiversity, regenerative practices, green skills and digital sustainability.

StartFreeCourses can contribute to European projects by transforming technical knowledge, research findings and project results into accessible and practical learning resources for adult learners and wider communities. Potential contributions include short online learning modules, multilingual adaptation, educational pilots, open-access digital delivery, dissemination and stakeholder engagement.

We are interested in cooperation with universities, research organisations, technology developers, NGOs, adult education providers, Living Labs and other organisations seeking an education, skills, dissemination or end-user perspective.

StartFreeCourses is a newcomer to Horizon Europe and is exploring opportunities to participate as a small complementary partner in multidisciplinary European consortia.
