AIJU

AIJU is a multidisciplinary Technology Centre based in Ibi (Alicante) and Valencia, Spain, with extensive experience supporting companies, public organisations and research partners in innovation, product development, industrial transformation and market competitiveness.

While AIJU is internationally recognised for its expertise in children’s products, toys and leisure, its activities extend far beyond these sectors. AIJU brings together specialised teams working across areas such as sustainable materials and biomaterials, circular economy and resource efficiency, environmental technologies, advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing, clean and advanced energy technologies, industrial robotics and automation, artificial intelligence and digitalisation, product and chemical safety, testing and certification, industrial process optimisation, user and market research, education and training.

Our multidisciplinary laboratories and technical teams work with a wide range of industries, including consumer products, healthcare, packaging, plastics and metals, automotive, electronics, education, childcare, food-contact materials and industrial equipment.

Sustainability is a key pillar of AIJU’s R&D&I activities. We develop and participate in national and European projects related to circular economy, industrial symbiosis, recycling and waste valorisation, sustainable and bio-based materials, Life Cycle Assessment and eco-design, water treatment, resource efficiency, clean energy and the reduction of environmental impacts throughout the product and production lifecycle.

AIJU also develops innovative solutions in advanced manufacturing, robotics, artificial intelligence, IoT, immersive technologies, digital product development and new materials, helping companies accelerate their technological and digital transformation.

From an initial idea, research challenge or material to prototypes, validation, industrialisation and market launch, AIJU supports the entire innovation process. We actively collaborate with companies, universities, research and technology organisations, public authorities and international consortia, and are interested in partnerships for R&D&I projects, particularly within European and international programmes.
