Circular Construction and Reuse of Building Materials

About
CITYFÖRSTER offers expertise in circular architecture, resource-efficient construction and the reuse of building materials and components.
Our Recyclinghaus project in Hanover demonstrates how reclaimed, recycled and reusable materials can be integrated into contemporary architecture. The project explores alternative material cycles, construction methods and design processes to reduce resource consumption, construction waste and embodied carbon.
Building on this experience, we support public and private partners in developing circular design strategies, assessing reuse potential, integrating secondary materials and exploring resource-conscious construction concepts.
We are particularly interested in collaborating with material suppliers, demolition and recycling companies, research institutions, developers and construction partners to turn circular economy principles into practical architectural solutions.
Our aim is to move beyond conventional recycling towards a construction culture that prioritises reuse, material value preservation, adaptability and long-term resource efficiency.
