European Research Platform on Energy & Climate Law

About

The European Research Platform on Energy and Climate Law is an innovative research instrument aiming to bridge scientific knowledge with decision-making. Founded by the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), the University Paris Dauphine-PSL, The Maison Française d'Oxford, and the European Federation of Energy Law Associations (EFELA), this platform intends to be an institution of legal expertise linking research and practice in the field of energy and climate. The platform will provide forward-thinking research analysis on Energy and Climate Law, with a constant focus on Energy and Climate Justice. It aims to analyse the guiding principles and mechanisms of the European Union's energy and climate policies through the lens of the Energy and Climate Justice concepts. Enshrined in interdisciplinary, the platform focuses on three areas of analysis: energy, the subsoil and the decarbonisation of the economy. As a European research instrument, the platform welcomes opportunities for cooperation with other EU or international partners.
