David Crombie is the coordinator of the CYANOTYPES Blueprint for Skills project and has been involved in European research and innovation projects since FP4, with a focus on human-centered strategic design issues and crossover innovation trajectories. Based at HKU – University of the Arts Utrecht, he is currently working on policy positions and research on open innovation and collective intelligence design. Among others, he participates in the European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA) Advocacy Board and Working Groups, the ERRIN WG Design & Creativity, and the COST Action EFAP on Advanced Practices, and is particularly interested in Anticipatory Innovation Governance and Systemic Design.

David Crombie ist Koordinator des Projekts „CYANOTYPES Blueprint for Skills“ und seit FP4 an europäischen Forschungs- und Innovationsprojekten beteiligt, wobei sein Schwerpunkt auf menschenzentrierten strategischen Designfragen und Crossover-Innovationspfaden liegt. Er ist an der HKU – University of the Arts Utrecht tätig und arbeitet derzeit an politischen Positionen sowie an Forschung zu offener Innovation und kollektivem Intelligenzdesign. Unter anderem ist er Mitglied des Advocacy Board und der Arbeitsgruppen der European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA), der ERRIN WG Design & Creativity sowie der COST Action EFAP zu fortgeschrittenen Praktiken und interessiert sich besonders für vorausschauende Innovationssteuerung und systemisches Design.
