Sport Tourism Canada has partnered with Signal49 Research and Integra Design Studio to redevelop the Sport Tourism Economic Assessment Model (STEAM), the industry’s trusted tool for measuring the economic impact of sport events.

This next-generation rebuild will modernize STEAM from the ground up with updated technology, stronger data capabilities, and a more intuitive user experience, making it easier than ever for communities and event hosts to demonstrate the true value of sport tourism.

What’s coming:
• A faster, more powerful, and user-friendly platform
• Enhanced reporting and insights to support stronger business cases and advocacy
• Smarter, data-driven decision-making for event planning and investment

This session offers a behind-the-scenes look at the redevelopment process, along with an exclusive preview of the new, more intuitive UI/UX platform, streamlined data entry process and robust reporting functionality - all designed to help the sport tourism sector measure impact, plan strategically and advocate effectively.
