Plenary - Lessons from the Locker Room
Whether it is chronicling the biggest sporting events on the planet, or interviewing the greats to understand what makes living legends tick, Arash Madani has travelled the world to tell the stories of the best on the grandest stages. Having that front-row seat, and ongoing behind-the-scenes access to the elite performers, has provided him with an understanding to what makes organizations succeed.
It is the genesis of his keynote address on leadership and winning teams, called ‘Lessons From The Locker Room.’ The keynote ties together the parallels between the locker room and corporate boardroom. Arash’s insights are, in part, a by-product from years of providing coverage at multiple Olympic Games and Super Bowls; Wimbledon to NBA Finals; World Series and FIFA events around the globe. Arash has had sit-down conversations with the likes of Roger Federer, Christine Sinclair, George Springer and Mark Cuban; insights from David Beckham, Sidney Crosby, Usain Bolt and Marie-Philip Poulin.
The pursuit to ‘win’ on the field or in the business world requires strong leadership, direction, vision and conviction. Arash’s keynote weaves stories, examples and unknown tales that only his access has provided that illustrates how and why some organizations have remarkable success, and others don’t.
