Grunewald is a family-run company based in Bocholt (North Rhine-Westphalia) with more than 200 employees. The company develops and manufactures, at two locations, injection-molding tools, casting resin molds, compression molds, and RTM tools for carbon components, as well as complex tools for processing composite materials.
The portfolio is complemented by the production of high-quality aluminum and iron castings using the low-pressure sand casting process. The company has particular expertise in the development and production of thin-walled structural cast parts that integrate multiple functions into a single component—ideal for lightweight, robust components used in demanding applications.
Another key area is special-purpose machine construction: Grunewald designs and implements robot-assisted production cells and automated system solutions for the efficient and precise manufacturing of components—including the use of modern technologies such as ultrasonic welding.
