Munro Vehicles

Munro Vehicles is a Scottish automobile manufacturer, founded in 2019 by engineers Russell Peterson and Ross Anderson, specialising in all-electric, rugged 4x4 utility vehicles. The company was born out of a perceived gap in the market for a durable, utilitarian electric workhorse, with the founders originally identifying the need during a camping trip in the Scottish Highlands. Their flagship product, the Munro Series-M, is a pure-bred electric off-roader designed for demanding sectors like mining, construction, agriculture, defence, and emergency response, serving as a no-nonsense tool built for capability, durability, and easy repairability. 

With a mission to help carbon-intensive industries transition to net zero, Munro Vehicles aims to bring volume car production back to Scotland for the first time in decades. The Series-M features a permanent mechanical four-wheel-drive system, high payload capacity, and significant towing ability, designed for a long service life of 20 years or more. The company has secured a growing order book and plans to significantly ramp up production, moving from hand-built vehicles at its initial base to a purpose-built factory near Glasgow to meet increasing global demand.
