About
The High Performance Computing Edge eXtension (HPCEX) module brings the power of high-performance edge computing into orbit. Designed for class 1 missions, this advanced processing module enables satellites to handle complex data directly on board, cutting down reliance on ground processing and unlocking new levels of autonomy.
At the heart of HPCEX is a space-qualified GPU, GPU@SAT, delivering parallel computing acceleration and supporting advanced AI algorithms. From intelligent image recognition to smart data compression, HPCEX makes satellites faster, smarter, and more efficient in how they use limited bandwidth.
HPCEX is flexible by design. Its modular architecture allows it to function as a dedicated data processor, a peripheral accelerator, or a high-speed computing hub – wherever performance and reliability are critical.
Built for every mission profile:
· High-reliability class 1 missions: powered by rad-hard components;
· Cost-sensitive missions: supported through COTS or military-grade options.
With HPCEX, space missions no longer just capture data. Now the satellites understand it, prioritize it, and act on it in orbit. The result: smarter satellites, optimized communications, and a new generation of autonomous space systems.
