Electrical Power System (EPS)

EPS-LP is Dragonfly’s advanced 28V (48V ready) Electrical Power System designed for spacecraft power control and distribution. Now in its 8th generation, this system boasts heritage design that ensures exceptional reliability and performance, making it ideal for nano, micro, and mini satellites. Capable of continuous power delivery of 1.5kW. Modular design allows for highly configurable distribution channels (5V, 12V, 28V).

Battery Module

Dragonfly's flight-proven 28V LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) high-power, modular spacecraft 300 Wh energy storage solution. The built-in Battery Management System (BMS) offers comprehensive monitoring, balancing, and protection of the battery cells during operation and can be utilised as part of our EPS-LP or alternatively, integrated into a platform as a standalone solution.

OBDH (OBC & SSMM)

The DFA OnBoard Computer is a flight-proven, high-reliability, radiation tolerant, OBC for low Earth orbit microsatellites. The OBC handles TMTC, task scheduling and 10Hz Attitude and Orbit Determination and Orbit Control Subsystem (AOCS). The OBC can operate independently or as part of a redundant pair for enhanced reliability.

Dragonfly's SSMM is a flight-proven, high-reliability, high-speed solid-state mass memory designed for low Earth orbit spacecraft. It features a Eurocard 3U form factor, a storage capacity of 512 GB, and read/write speeds of up to 26 Gbps. The SSMM can operate independently or be combined with multiple units to form larger memory banks.

The SSMM includes built-in ECC and bad block management to ensure data integrity, as well as JPEG 2000 lossless compression to save space and reduce download times.

High Data Rate Transmitter (HDRTx)

High reliability, ultra-high data rate X-band transmitter for low Earth orbit spacecraft with DVB-S2 rates of up to 2.6 Gbps.
