Integrated Space Qualification & Design-for-Manufacturing Center

About
Space Industries offers a fully integrated “all-in” Space Qualification & Industrialization Center, where environmental, performance and manufacturability validation are executed end-to-end under one roof. From early design review to flight acceptance, customers access a complete chain of facilities: cleanroom AIT areas, thermal vacuum chambers, vibration and shock systems, EMC/EMI test ranges, solar simulation, RF test capabilities, functional performance benches and long-duration life tests. This vertical integration eliminates fragmented logistics, reduces risk of non-conformances and compresses schedule, while aligning every step with ESA/NASA standards.
Our service is structured around three complementary design models:
-
Design-to-Performance (EQM & Protoflight)
We qualify components and subsystems using Engineering Qualification Model (EQM) and Protoflight approaches tailored to the target mission profile. Margin philosophy, environmental levels, duty cycles and redundancy concepts are jointly defined, then verified across the full test chain in our facilities. The result is a configuration frozen on proven performance, with direct traceability from analysis to test evidence, minimizing over-design while preserving mission reliability. -
Design-to-Manufacturing (Flight Models, ≤10–20 units)
For low-volume production runs, we focus on manufacturability and repeatability without compromising performance. Our experts review mechanical layouts, harness architecture, PCB and assembly choices, tooling and integration flow to simplify operations, reduce special processes, and stabilize lead times. The outcome is an optimized Flight Model baseline that lowers unit cost and integration effort on series below 10–20 units, ideal for institutional missions, technology demonstrators and high-reliability payloads. -
Design-to-Cost (Modular Constellation & High-Volume Production)
When scaling to dozens or hundreds of units, we transform the design into a modular, space-qualified architecture ready for industrial production. We standardize interfaces, define common building blocks, and cluster test activities to enable batch manufacturing, fast configuration changes and shared qualification heritage. Through this modularization, Space Industries helps customers achieve aggressive cost and schedule targets for large constellations, while maintaining rigorous quality, configurability, and in-orbit reliability.
By combining these three models within one integrated hub, Space Industries becomes not only a qualification provider, but a strategic industrial partner for the full lifecycle of space hardware—from first article to scalable constellations.
