About
Kythrion is Circuits Integrated Hellas' flagship antenna chip platform engineered to revolutionize satellite communications through advanced 3D heterogeneous integration of III-V semiconductors (GaAs, GaN) and silicon CMOS technologies. Designed for Ka-band and higher frequencies, Kythrion consolidates multiple discrete components—power amplifiers, phase shifters, low-noise amplifiers, switches, and RF routing—into a compact, highly integrated system-in-package (SiP) or antenna-in-package (AiP) architecture. This co-designed approach delivers up to 60% reduction in antenna size, weight, and cost while maintaining superior RF performance, signal integrity, and power efficiency compared to traditional PCB-based phased array solutions. Kythrion addresses critical market demands for LEO/MEO satellite constellations, enabling faster deployment, lower launch costs, and mission flexibility. The platform targets VSAT, flat-panel antenna (FPA), and next-generation electronically steerable antenna (ESA) applications across satellite broadband, 5G, IoT, and defense sectors. Currently advancing through TRL6-7, with commercial samples planned for Q2-Q3 2027, Kythrion represents a foundational technology enabling reduced-SWaP-C satellite communication systems and positioning CIH as a strategic partner for integrators and constellation operators seeking advanced, cost-effective antenna solutions
