Hardthausen, Germany

About

Status

  • Demonstrator under testing

  • ‍Customer projects ongoing, IOD 2026

Thruster classes

  1. HyNox-200 Thruster (50-400 N)

  2. HyNOx-22 Thruster (11-44 N)

  3. HyNOx-5 Thruster (2.5-10 N)

  4. HyNOx-1 Thruster (0.5-2.0 N)

Your benefits

  • Green, affordable and easily available propellants: N2O + C2H6

  • Simple system architecture – self-pressurized system

  • Thrust level can be controlled by propellant temperature control

  • Thermal steady-state operation of the thruster allows significant deltaV from a single maneuve

  • ITAR free and REACH compliant

  • Cold-start capable

Capabilities

  • Propellant feeding: Liquid or gaseous, depending on mission requirements

  • Thruster operatable for saturated fluid temperatures, typically -29°C to +32°C, extensions are possible, and the system survivability temperature range can be customizable (up to 71°C qualified)

  • Services offered: CAD Design and Feeding System Layout, Modelling of thrust, propellant consumption, tank and feeding system conditions, Propulsion system integration and experimental characterization, Thruster acceptance testing, On-site AIT support, Fueling
