XtratuM Hypervisor

XtratuM is a reliable, reusable, and scalable hypervisor designed for embedded real-time systems operating in critical environments. It enables the secure integration of mission-critical and non-critical applications on a single hardware platform through temporal and spatial partitioning (TSP), ensuring robust and predictable system performance.

Qualified as an ECSS Category B Type 1 hypervisor, XtratuM allows developers to combine bare-metal applications and different operating systems within isolated partitions, each supporting applications with distinct criticality levels. This design guarantees system integrity and continuous operation, even in the event of individual partition failures.
