About
Over the span of last 25 years we developed 5 generations of the High Power Laser - HiPoLas, and demonstrated more than 4000 successful ignitions of gas generators and rocket engines from small prototypes to full-scale engines using these lasers as a main igniter.
Laser ignition allows for cheaper, greener and more controlled ignition of any fuel, under any conditions. It combines uniquely small weight and footprint with outstanding timing resolution and reusability. Our recent advancements in high-energy fiber beam delivery systems allowed us to use a single laser for multi-engine ignition and push the overall cost of the system even further down.
Our expertise in high-energy lasers allows us to readily extend it to cover such topics as laser propulsion (alternative to ion propulsion), space- and ground-based LIDAR and space-to-ground and satellite-to-satellite communications, LIBS, laser processing (marking, surface texturing, laser deposition), debris removal, wireless power transfer and a broad variety of defense applications (directed energy).
