The system supports full duplex, dual polarisation, advanced pointing-acquisition-tracking (PAT) and is compatible with major space communication standards. It’s designed for all orbits—from LEO constellations to deep space—and enables ultra-secure, low-latency payloads including quantum key distribution (QKD) and mesh networking in space.

In the terrestrial domain, Mbryonics delivers high-throughput optical interconnect solutions and last-mile free-space optical (FSO) systems for telecoms and data-centres, leveraging the same core photonic technologies that power space links. Their manufacturing facility in Galway is scaling to meet demand for series production of optics, PICs and co-packaged photonics modules, targeting both space and ground network applications.
