About
The Keysight MP4300 Series Solar Array Simulator System brings solar power into the lab with precision and flexibility. Designed for satellite and spacecraft testing, it accurately emulates the dynamic output characteristics of photovoltaic segments under varying space conditions—such as eclipse, spin, and temperature fluctuations. Its fast I-V curve switching and quick recovery time enable reliable testing of power regulation topologies including MPPT, Sequential Shunt, Series Switch, and Direct Connection.
Built with a modular architecture, the MP4300 system supports up to six 1.4 kW modules in a compact 2U rack space, delivering up to 8.4 kW total power. Each module can simulate a single string, segment, or solar module, and can be grouped to match real-world solar array architectures. With autoranging capabilities, regenerative power features, and modern connectivity (USB, LAN, GPIB), the MP4300 offers a cost-efficient, high-density solution for validating solar-powered systems before launch—minimizing risk and accelerating innovation.
