Materials research, testing and development

At Lucideon, we have access to a range of advanced ceramic manufacturing techniques from formulation development, pre-processing methods to optimise powders/doughs/slurries/pastes and advanced sintering techniques including field-enhanced flash sintering, hot isostatic pressing, controlled-atmosphere sintering and a hydrogen-fired kiln capable of utilising up to 100% H2. Our facilities are capable of processing batches of a few grams to dozens of kilograms of material for scale-up and higher TRL research.

Our testing capabilities encompass microstructural characterization (including hot-stage XRD), a suite of solid and liquid state elemental characterization and high-temperature mechanical testing for small and large samples.
