About
We have capability to design SSPAs, LNAs, up- and down-converters, filters, diplexers etc. as well as complex integrated up- and down-converters, radar front-ends and radiometric receivers, and manufacture and test at low- to mid-volume output (1-10 pcs) to high volume (1000-2000 pcs) per annum.
Design. Farran has an experienced design team and tools (HFSS, ADS, Inventor) with a proven track record of designing components and subsystems from DC to 500 GHz.
Manufacture. Farran has an in house capability to manufacture RF, microwave and millimetre-wave components and subsystems using surface mount, bare die devices and discrete diodes. Assembly utilizes soldering, die bonding and wire/ribbon/ball bonding techniques. Volume production is supported by MRSI 705 machine. Inspection is performed using advanced microscopes. Please see images and video below.
Test. Farran has extensive capabilities when it comes to RF, microwave and mm-wave testing. Our capability spans from DC up to 500 GHz when it comes to S-parameters, power, spectrum, noise figure measurements and signal generation. Farran also can perform environmental and vibration testing.
