About
Myceen’s mission – developing carbon-negative mycelium-composite building materials to transform the construction industry.
We’re currently raising our €1 million seed round, led by Kiilto Ventures. The round is further leveraged by over €1 million in grants, and we are in the process of applying for an additional €2.5 million in funding.
Why Myceen?
- 20% lower carbon footprint per building – our material helps to meet the sustainability goals**.**
- Radically cost-effective production – €3/m³ raw materials + near-room temp growth = ultra-low input costs.
- Massive market demand – EU insulation market is €21B and growing fast, as 75% of buildings must be renovated by 2030.
- Interest from industry leaders – House producers are already waiting for our insulation materials.
- Industry-changing production tech – We are leading the development of fully automated mycelium material production. (Patent handed in on automated production tech & AI)
Our main goal is to scale production, finalise our novel manufacturing technology, and initiate collaborations with house producers who are already eager to integrate our insulation materials.
