About

Ashirase, Inc. is a Japanese technology company developing navigation solutions that help people move independently and with confidence. Our work combines wearable technology, smartphone applications and digital mapping to support more accessible and inclusive environments.

ASHIRASE is a shoe-mounted navigation system for people who are blind or have low vision. Connected to a smartphone app, it communicates walking directions through vibrations, allowing users to keep their hands available for a white cane or guide dog and their ears attentive to their surroundings.

IndoorFlow builds on our experience in accessible navigation to help a wider range of people find their way through complex indoor spaces. It combines digital mapping, smartphone-based positioning and AR guidance to support navigation where GPS is unavailable, without requiring dedicated beacons or additional Wi-Fi infrastructure.

We are seeking international partners, municipalities and facility operators to explore pilot projects and collaboration opportunities in accessible mobility and indoor wayfinding. Potential settings include public buildings, transport hubs, hospitals, commercial facilities and campuses. We welcome discussions with organisations seeking to improve accessibility, visitor experience and independent movement.
