BALKAN IMEKS EOOD

BALKAN IMEKS EOOD is a European R&D and engineering company developing the patented TRI-SET System (Tri-Mast Synchronous Elevating Tower, Patent WO2025048762) — a new generation of transformable urban elevation infrastructure.

Our technology is based on a telescopic hydraulic mast that remains compact at approximately 4–7 metres in standby mode and can be elevated up to 70 metres when deployed. The system is designed to provide high-capacity vertical infrastructure without the need for a conventional permanent high-rise structure or deep foundation, making it particularly suitable for dense urban areas, historic city centres and locations where permanent construction is highly restricted.

The flagship application is a panoramic observation platform for Smart Tourism. The elevated platform provides a 360-degree view over the city and can become a new urban landmark and tourist attraction while preserving the visual and architectural character of historic surroundings. The concept is intended for high-traffic locations close to major cultural, historical and tourist destinations and combines tourism, public-space activation, education and commercial sustainability.

TRI-SET is also designed as a multi-purpose and emergency-response infrastructure platform. The same elevation technology can be adapted for emergency evacuation of people from high-rise buildings, providing an alternative access and rescue route when conventional stairways or lifts cannot be used. It can also support emergency medical operations in areas with large crowds and provide an elevated landing platform / vertiport for helicopters and future urban air-mobility vehicles.

This dual-use approach allows one infrastructure system to serve cities in everyday commercial operation while also providing additional capabilities for civil protection, emergency response and urban mobility.

The core engineering development has been completed, manufacturing technologies for the main structural components have been developed and key components have undergone factory testing. A working prototype is already in operation, while BALKAN IMEKS is currently preparing the next demonstration and European certification stage.

We are looking for municipalities, Smart City partners, industrial and engineering companies, investors and urban-mobility partners interested in pilot deployment, European CE/TÜV certification, manufacturing integration and international scaling of the TRI-SET technology.
