About
A proof of concept lets a city, research partner or operator test demand-responsive transport with real residents before committing to a full deployment.
What the pilot covers
-
Service design: area, stops or door-to-door zones, operating hours and the promises made to passengers, all agreed with you before anything is configured.
-
Platform set-up: Shotl passenger app, driver app and operations dashboard configured for your area, using your existing vehicles or those of a local operator.
-
Launch support: driver and dashboard training and support during the duration of the operation.
-
Measured results: waits, travel times, demand and pooling reported from day one, closed with a results report and a recommendation on whether and how to scale.
What we need from you
A defined area, a contact who can decide, access to vehicles and drivers (yours or a partner's), and honest data on the current service.
Pilot scope and duration are tailored to each project.
