Kentyou has been founded in 2020 to help cities in their digital and environemental transformation. Founded after seven years of research and development within the CEA, world leading research institution in France, Kentyou aims to help municipalities and businesses leverage urban data to enhance citizens’ quality of life and optimize urban services in a variety of domains such as mobility, security, energy, building management and climate resilience.

Kentyou offers a comprehensive digital twin solution composed of:

-              Kentyou Data Hub, collecting data from various sources such as IoT, open data, legacy systems, unifying them and facilitating their acquisition in real-time or as historical data.

-              Kentyou Analytics, a framework and a set of libraries for analysing collected data and transforming it into actionable insights.

-              Kentyou Eye, a data visualization tool with dashboard and map views, as well as an impact monitoring tool, providing AI-assisted support for decision-making.

Over the past five years, Kentyou has carried out more than 10 city-scale pilots across countries such as France, Spain, Germany, Turkey, Japan, and Korea. Building on the success of these initiatives, Kentyou is now moving from pilot projects to real-world deployments—for example, implementing a Traffic Management solution in the megacity of Istanbul (Turkey) and an Urban Heat Island Management solution in Grenoble (France).

Kentyou is recognized as a visionary leader in the smart city domain. The company chairs the Urban Technology Alliance (UTA), a global coalition of cities and technology providers dedicated to advancing smart city innovation. UTA brings together cities from Europe, Japan, Korea, and beyond, along with cutting-edge solution providers, to design and validate smart city solutions through large-scale, real-world trials.
