CloudFerro S.A. - European (Polish) private company providing computing cloud services for space sector with processing and storage optimized for the Space Enabled Services value chain. With over 240 people we run several public cloud regions in Europe and private clouds for our customers – currently in Poland, Germany, Italy, Finland, Spain and in Philippines. We support distributed, resilient processing abd Data Lakes fir the Destination Earth, for the modelling of the Digital Twins.

We provide an enhanced Data acquisition and ground segment service  chain as a service (DAGS) – from Ground Station to data delivery and AI frameworks for space enabled products and seurity. It is a resilient, sovereign, and trustworthy bridge between the raw data collected by onboard instruments and the end users. DAGS is designed to be an as-a-Service solution  based on CF cloud infrastructure providing flexibility to deploy on a public cloud for scalability or private cloud for enhanced security.

We control full technology stack – from own servers we build through open source cloud and storage services to specialized EO services.

 CREODIAS (www.creodias.eu) and CDSE (www.dataspace.copernicus.eu)  -  Big Data repository of over 80 PBytes  (going back 40 years) of the immediately available Earth Observation data from the full collections of the Sentinel, Landsat, Envisat  and several other missions. The data can be processed in the CloudFerro cloud or downloaded. The data are used for the land classification, disaster management, food security, forestry, mining and many other applications.

CloudFerro cloud ( www.cloudferro.com) – public, private and hybrid cloud solutions optimised for the storage and processing of  Earth observation data with AI enabling resources and tools, dedicated configurations and processing flows. The cloud and storage are based  on open source solutions (OpenStack and Ceph). Focus on the cloud services, no vendor lock-in, no egress fee. Easy to federate with other environments.

Payload Data Ground Segment as a Service - PDGSaaS - CloudFerro PAAS enables to host, manage process and disseminate satellite payload data. Its three main segments are Payload Data Ingest, Payload Data Processing, Payload Data Storage and Dissemination. The internal interfaces of the PDGS use OData APIs for communication, following the ESA Ground Segment standards.

Based on the open-source technology, modular, plug-and play, stand-alone but interoperable, automated platform. As an edge node close to a Ground Station, it requires only power supply and connectivity. It can act autonomously or as part of a network increasing resilience of the EO data push, pull and processing chain.
The AI ready environment enables instant, automatic identification of the anomalies in the received data and immediate action including sharing the warning and scheduling further observations.
