Preto no Branco

Preto no Branco is a technology startup founded by João Vitor Severo, Master in Business Administration, and Leonardo Barbosa, PhD candidate in Computer Science, both from PUCRS. For the past five years, the company has been establishing itself as a reference in technology-based solutions, standing out especially for its port security product, now implemented in 12 harbors in Brazil and abroad. The system performs intelligent container analysis, assisting the Federal Revenue Service and Federal Police in identifying illicit materials.

In parallel, Preto no Branco develops custom software for industries, with one of its main cases being Honda Motos, with whom it co-created solutions for production management. This ability to adapt technology to the specific needs of clients has made the company recognized for its flexibility, precision, and impactful deliveries.

Beyond business, Preto no Branco carries a strong commitment to education and social impact. For the past three years, it has maintained a vertical dedicated to training new talents in technology and design, in partnership with PUCRS (Polytechnic School, AGES, and Famecos). This initiative has already trained numerous students in programming languages and UI/UX design, increasing their employability and creating opportunities for young people to transform their professional trajectories.
