We were founded more than 25 years ago, and not to manufacture or sell anything. Rather, we set out to fulfill a purpose: to work towards a future without waste, one having a positive impact on the environment and on people's lives. We're working to achieve this out of conviction, firmly believing in what we do, because this purpose is in our very nature.
We continue to promote the Circular Economy to achieve full packaging circularity through its reduction, reuse and recycling, minimizing its environmental impact. There are many of us who share this responsibility, and we're not going to walk this road alone. We believe in the power of collaboration. Therefore, we forge alliances with companies, administrations and organizations, and join social movements to defend the planet we live on.
As important as fulfilling our purpose is the way we do so. Thus, our commitment is to an environment in which human beings can live. We don't think of them as consumers, but rather as people with whom we share causes and concerns, which is why we have close, rapport-based relationships with them that are transformative.
This is why we'll continue to mobilize, be inspiring and, above all, useful. Because we're not just managers, we're promoters of a new development model that respects the environment and is compatible with the limits of this planet.
Because our passion and our work is the environment, for which we are recognizable and recognized. But we didn't get involved in this for the recognition. We did so to solve a problem that we shared with citizens, companies, and administrations. We are, therefore, solvers, not just advocates. And we're not afraid of challenges, which is why we offer packaging solutions that are effective, efficient, and innovative, and that guarantee compliance.
It's also in our nature to maintain close, honest and transparent relationships with society. We speak the language of the people, because we know that it will be society, based on conviction, that will help us achieve our purpose and spread it. The most valuable thing we've learned is that we are what we do, and we know it's time to start over, to do things differently. Therefore, we're proud of our past, but, above all, we're prepared to transform ourselves and continue working towards a greener, more prosperous and inclusive future.
Let's carry on.
