BlueTechPort is the innovation hub of the Port of Barcelona, and managed by the World Trade Center Barcelona. This program connects start-ups with key stakeholders in the blue economy, offering access to infrastructure, funding, and visibility within a global maritime ecosystem.

· The Port of Barcelona is Spain’s leading port for international trade. It handles over 71 million tonnes of cargo each year and is connected to over 200 ports worldwide. As a smart port, it is committed to sustainability, innovation and digital transformation. Initiatives such as Nexigen (dock electrification) and OPS (Onshore Power Supply) are helping to reduce emissions.
· The World Trade Center Barcelona is much more than just a business hub. Spanning 130,000 m² of open spaces, bespoke offices and fully equipped conference rooms on the seafront, it brings together experiences, talent and technology. · BlueTechPort is a 25,000 m² innovation campus located at San Bertran Dock. Designed to host start-ups, scale-ups and research centres focused on the blue economy, it was launched in 2023. It includes co-working spaces, laboratories, networking areas and access to testing zones within the port (sandbox model).
