Smart textile collection challenge.
Open Innovation at Girbau SA
BARCELONA, Spain
About
Technologies and solutions for the smart collection of filled textile items (e.g. duvets, cushions, pillows and the like) in urban commercial environments.
The challenge focuses on enabling systems that are easy and safe to use by citizens and operators, while ensuring connectivity and traceability that provides information about the location and the capacity used, for example. The collection points or devices should facilitate loading, unloading, and movement of bulky textiles with minimal effort and maximum usability.
The technology must be applicable in public or private spaces, such as municipalities, parking lots or shopping areas, and should take into account both citizens interaction and the operational needs of waste management service.
Note: This is an exploratory challenge, aimed at identifying innovative approaches and opening conversations. At this stage, the goal is to map potential solutions and partners.
