edPill Verify is developing trust infrastructure for resilient manufacturing supply chains.
Manufacturing businesses are increasingly being required to diversify suppliers, source from new markets and adapt their supply chains in response to geopolitical change, tariffs, capacity constraints, cyber risk and changing customer requirements. However, establishing a new supplier relationship creates an immediate trust challenge: can the supplier perform, have agreed milestones been achieved, is the supporting evidence reliable, and when is it safe for either party to make its next commercial commitment?
RedPill Verify is developing a technology layer designed to help manufacturers answer those questions more effectively.
Our approach combines supplier and transaction information, documentary and milestone evidence, performance obligations, provenance and changing risk signals to provide an explainable view of what needs to be verified at each stage of a manufacturing transaction.
The objective is to help manufacturers - particularly SMEs - build more resilient supply chains, work with new suppliers more confidently and expand into new domestic and export markets without relying solely on long-established trading relationships, blind advance payments or unsecured credit.
Potential manufacturing applications include new-supplier onboarding, bespoke and engineered products, tooling and stage payments, component procurement, quality and delivery milestones, documentary verification, export transactions and situations where supplier or cyber-risk information changes during a commercial relationship.
RedPill Verify is led by a founder with more than 15 years of experience in global trade and supply-chain finance, working with businesses ranging from SMEs to major international corporates. This experience has repeatedly demonstrated that when supply chains change, trust is one of the first things that needs to be rebuilt.
Through the SMART programme, RedPill Verify is seeking manufacturing end users, technology partners and research organisations to jointly develop and validate a continuous trust infrastructure for advanced-manufacturing supply chains. We are particularly interested in partners with capabilities in manufacturing, AI, cybersecurity, provenance and trusted data, ERP/procurement integration and industrial digitalisation.
