About

CropX Europe provides data-driven farm management software and hardware, helping growers, advisors, and agribusinesses make better decisions about irrigation, crop protection, and field registration based on real, up-to-date field data — from soil to sky. Our core idea is straightforward: bring farm data together in one place so it's easy to manage and share, rather than scattered across separate tools. Growers get practical advice based on their own field conditions; agribusiness partners get standardized, traceable data at scale; and software providers can build directly on top of our data via API rather than collecting it themselves.

What we offer

Farm Intelligence software

  • Cloudfarm — links precision agriculture data directly to crop registration.

  • Irrigatiemanagement — tells growers precisely when, where, and how much to irrigate.

  • Ziektemanagement — supports decisions on crop protection product use.

  • Teeltregistratie — fast, structured registration of field activities, built for daily use.

  • Weersverwachting — reliable, region-specific weather forecasting.

  • Weerdata — historical and real-time weather data from a grower's own weather station or a Dacom station.

Hardware

  • Soil sensors — robust, multi-depth sensors (including the CropX Sensor and TerraSen) measuring soil moisture, temperature, electroconductivity, and salinity.

  • Weather stations — in-field weather stations and rain gauges delivering real-time and historical local weather data.

  • Evaporation sensors — ET-line sensors measuring actual crop evapotranspiration, canopy growth, and water stress to support precision irrigation planning.

  • NIR sensors (SCiO) — SCIO Mini and SCIO Cup near-infrared analyzers for rapid, in-field crop and soil quality analysis.

Boer&Bunder
Field-level data across the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Germany, Denmark, and France — covering cultivable area, crop rotation, elevation, soil type distribution, and crop growth. Growers can also use it to find suitable land to rent or buy. Boer&Bunder Data unlocks the full analytical potential of this dataset, and the Boer&Bunder API lets partners and software providers enrich their own systems with this agricultural data.

Agribusiness
Farmlook is built for food processors, suppliers, and advisors operating internationally who need standardized field, crop, and climate data. By centralizing this information, agribusiness partners gain better insight into cultivation, cost, yield, and traceability, while exchanging data directly with growers.

Our story

CropX Europe's roots go back to 1987, when a Dutch farmer founded Dacom, one of the first companies to bring computer-based advisory systems to Dutch agriculture. The company steadily expanded its sensor and software capabilities over the following decades, merging with the Crop-R precision agriculture initiative in 2017 to form Dacom Farm Intelligence. In 2021, Dacom became part of CropX, combining decades of Dutch agronomic expertise with CropX's global sensor hardware and machine-learning-driven analytics.
