Located in central eastern Italy, Abruzzo enjoys a wide range of natural habitats. The region benefits from a myriad of microclimates. Indeed, the interior has a continental climate, with rigid, snowy winters and cooler summers, while the coastline is characterized by a temperate Mediterranean climate. The geology is highly varied too, with marly-clay, sand rich flysch, limestone soils up on the hills, and gravel and alluvial deposits closer to the sea.

Ettore Galasso is one of the biggest Estate Bottlers of Abruzzo and he's able to create, thanks to the great land extension and the variety of vineyard locations, unique wines both in terms of sensory notes and value for money.

The large grape production on its own land, combined with the availability of three bottling lines, allows Galasso to sell more than 4,000,000 bottles every years. Yet there is still a great deal of production potential untapped. Galasso can rely on one of the largest barrel capacities of the region with capacity of the region with a capacity of 800 hectoliters, between Tonneau and barrique. Galasso produces many wine lines and several private labels, all aimed to the retail market.
