About

Digital Economy Lab (DELab) University of Warsaw (UW) acts as a bridge between academia, research institutions, business, public administration and NGOs. We participate in international research projects as well as undertake research commissioned by a variety of stakeholders. Our working papers and reports serve as a starting point to draw solutions and recommendations for partners and policy makers working in the scope of digitalisation. DELab UW is becoming a trusted and renowned partner inside and outside the academia and is playing a leading role as a regional centre of expertise in digital transformation.

Areas of research and consulting and expertise:

We offer to businesses free digital maturity audits as part of the EDIH (European Digital Innovation Hub) program. Audits are conducted by a dedicated unit at the University of Warsaw, the Digital Economy Lab (DELab), which has over 10 years of experience in digital transformation research in areas such as Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence applications, intelligent work automation, the use of digital tools in everyday work, building awareness and knowledge about digital transformation among management and employees, and more.

Audits are conducted in-person or remotely.

The report, coaching, and certificate obtained as part of the expert service can support your efforts in obtaining funding from national and regional competitions such as: "Automation and Robotization in SMEs"; SME Support in the Area of ​​Digitization - Digitization Vouchers; "Dig.IT. Digital Transformation"; "DIGITRANS" - support for the digitization of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs); "SME Development in the Area of ​​Digitization and Industry 4.0 for Companies in the Małopolska Voivodeship"; "Digitalization of Lublin SMEs in the Lublin Voivodeship"; "Digital SMEs" - European Funds for Warmia and Mazury; or the "SMART Path" for companies across Poland. The expert services obtained can be helpful in obtaining funds under the planned PLN 2.8 billion in loans for businesses for digital transformation from the National Operational Programme. The expert services obtained can also be useful for SMEs planning to obtain financing under HORIZON EUROPE projects related to digital transformation. The expert services can also be helpful in obtaining financing from investment funds or banks, e.g., loans to finance digitalization.
