Fractional IP

Focus on providing strategic IP and value-driven counsel aligned with business goals, to biotech and life science start-ups/scale-ups, university spin-outs, and venture capital firms, including:

- Fractional in-house IP expertise and mentoring to scientific founders and executive teams

- Due Diligence and IP support to commercial transactions such as licensing, partnerships and spin-outs, including Exclusivity (assessment of invention harvesting and global patent drafting and prosecution) and Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses, IP risk identification and mitigation, pitching slides and data-room structuring

- Collaborate with VCs and innovation hubs to assess IP strategy formulation, risk management, mitigation and communication, as well as regulatory alignment and value creation potential

- Integration support for M&A and tech transfer, including process synergies leading to operational efficiencies

- IP education and awareness, including cross-functional collaboration and alignment with business goals for project teams and business leaders, promoting timely invention harvesting and aligned patent drafting and prosecution
